Artist Statements/Déclaration d'artiste

 

My mentors: Leonardo da Vinci, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Man Ray, Sandro Botticelli. What inspires me?  Forms, design, colours, the beauty of the body reaching the essential and extending to the afterlife world without evacuating the desire, the mystery, the streets of the cities at night, nature, the faces that have something to say… Techniques used? All the cutting-edge technology allows me to create, not to mention the drawing, watercolor, etc.

 

Mes mentors, Leonardo da Vinci, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Man Ray, Sandro Botticelli. Ce qui m’inspire ?  Les formes, le design, la couleur, la beauté du corps qui rejoint l’essentiel et va vers l’au-delà sans en évacuer le désir, le mystère, les rues des villes la nuit, la nature, les visages qui ont à dire et l’abstraction … Techniques utilisées ? Tout ce que la fine pointe de la technologie me permet de créer, sans oublier le dessin, l’aquarelle, etc.

 

Biography

 

--Born 8.4.1956 in St-Hubert, Montreal suburb, Canada, from Catholic parents.

--Studies at the ‘University of Montréal’ in art history, literature, philosophy.

--Teaching, then Advisor in real estate financing.

--1995. Beginning a new career in art and literature. Reside: Paris, LA, Vancouver, New York, Montréal.

--1997-2000. Elaboration of the concept of ‘Image’ which articulates around the computer.

--2000-2014. I devote myself almost exclusively to the creation of Visual works, and writing novels, poetry, screenplay for movies and TV shows

--2015 Start of promoting my work.
